Mónica García Melón

PhD in Industrial Engineering of Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV)Senior project

Dra. Mónica García Melón is a full profesor at Proyectos de Ingeniería Politechnique Valencia University. She is an expert in Decision-Making process (MCDM and MCDA) in different business and institutional areas. Her research focuses on Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) y Analytic Network Process (ANP). Mónica has professional experience in decision-making process in complex environments, participative decision and governance. She has been Principal Investigator in more than 10 research projects, international, national and regional ones. All of them are focus in the application of MCDM techniques in different issues such a decision making process and indicators generation.

Rocío Poveda Bautista

PhD in Industrial Organization of Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV)

Dra. Rocío Poveda Bautista has a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and is associate professor of UPV. Rocío is an expert in the application of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Analytic Network Process (ANP) methodologies to the assessment of competitiveness and business strategy and to the evaluation of impact of technology transfer activities of universities. Prof. Poveda is also experienced in the use of social network analysis for studying processes of interaction among research network participants’. She has an important number of international papers on the application of AHP/ANP techniques and other fields. She is principal investigator of several funded projects based on the definition of measurement indicators.

Carmen Corona Sobrino

PhD Student of Social Sciences of Universitat de València (UV)Support

Carmen Corona is a sociologist interested in Science, Technology and Society studies (STS) and qualitative methods. She is currently a doctoral candidate at INGENIO (CSIC-UPV). During her PhD work she have gained considerable experience in qualitative research methods including interviewing, coding and analyzing qualitative data. Her research focuses on research evaluation systems and knowledge practices. Before starting her PhD, she worked at Instituto de Biomecánica Valencia (IBV) in different European projects based on the implementation of innovative product development tools and methodologies.

Hannia González Urango

PhD Student of Local Developement and International Cooperation of Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV)

She is a PhD Candidate in Local Development at Universitat Politècnica  de València (UPV). She is interested in decision making processes using MCDM/MCDA techniques and in stakeholder analysis for planning sustainable development and designing indicators. She has also worked on innovation systems and university-industry collaboration.  
Previously, she worked in project formulation and project management,  management, consulting and as a lecturer.

Adela García

Full-time researcher at INGENIO (CSIC-UPV)

She is Public Sector Specialist with extensive experience in the empirical analysis of the role of universities and their contribution to regional socio-economic development, their relationships with industry, and the way in which they develop and promote human capital competencies and capabilities. From 1999 to 2001, she worked at the World Bank in the Social Human Development Department and since then she collaborates with the World Bank as an External Consultant. Her parallel active participation in the former REFLEX and CHEERS projects (FP6 and FP4, respectively),bolstered her interest in analyzing surpluses and deficits in human capital competencies and active teaching-learning methodologies. She is currently the Project Coordinator of Erasmus+ CBHE FOSTERC project (Oct. 2016-April 2020).She has published several articles related to the domain of the project in the following international refereed journalActive Learning in Higher Education,Higher Education, Journal of HE, Research in Higher Education, Research Policy, Regional Studies, ScientometricsandWorld Development.
